UPPSC Mains Syllabus 2024

Those who qualify for the Prelims exam will then be selected for the Mains exam. According to the new UPPSC test format, there are 8 papers in the UPPSC Mains Syllabus. The first of the eight examinations is general Hindi, and paper 2 will be essay based; the other papers, Papers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are General Studies papers.

Mains Hindi Syllabus-

The following topics will be covered in the Mains Hindi syllabus-

• विलोम शब्द
• वाक्यांश के लिए एक शब्द
• वर्तनी एवं वाकया शुद्धि

Mains Essay Syllabus-

There will be three sections to the essay paper. Applicants are required to select one topic from each section and build it into a 700-word essay. The essay topics for the three sections will be based on the following:

(1) Literature and culture in Section A. (2) The social realm. (3) The political realm.

(1) Science, environment, and technology in Section B. (2) The Economic Sector (3) Commerce, industry, and agriculture.

Section C: (1) Events from around the world. (2) Natural disasters such as drought, landslides, earthquakes, and deluges. (3) Projects and programs for national development
