Reliance Communications (RCom) Chairman Anil Ambani has announced that the merged entities of RCom and Aircel will be called Aircom. These merged entities are Reliance Communications and Maxis Communications Berhad (MCB). Both the companies announced their merger plans in September 2016.

SCO is regarded as a counterweight to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).

7) world day against child labour 2017: 12th June
The government has recently amended the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 which came into effect in September 2016.
This amendment prohibits employment of children below 14 years in any occupation or process. It also prohibits the employment of adolescents (14 to 18 years) in hazardous occupations and processes.
